My best friend and client are going to Barcelona this summer and I thought I would put together my 4 perfect days in Barcelona. Please note my perfect days may be different than yours as I like to balance activity with relaxation.

Day 1 Arrive and Get Settled
2pm: Arrive at the Serras Hotel. Your room will be ready because you have booked through me which includes early check-in, enjoy your upgrade and welcome gift😊. The Serras is located in the Gothic corridor and walkable to much of Barcelona.
3pm-6pm Walk around the Gothic corridor and get to know the area. Stop by a café for some a beverage and tapas. Make sure you walk by the Barcelona Cathedral.

6-7pm Relax in your upgraded room and get ready for dinner.
7-9pm Dinner at the award winning hotel restaurant utilizing your 100 USD credit included in your booking. After a long day traveling from Madrid. Let’s make it an easy night before we pick things up tomorrow.
Day 2: Park Guell and Walk the City
7am-9am Wake up early and have your complimentary sit-down breakfast at the hotel.
9-1pm Uber to Park Guell. Purchase your tickets in advance and enjoy a walk in the most beautiful park in Barcelona along with perfect views of the city.

1-2 Uber to 3 Focs for lunch at a traditional family owned restaurant in the heart of L’Eixample Barcelona known for the night life, LGBTQ establishments and plenty of raunchy stores for our straight brethren.

2-6pm Walk L ’Eixample to the Passeig de Grà cia for high-end shopping (remind your spouse there is a Tiffanys) and make your way through La Rambla. Do not eat or drink in La Ramblas as they are tourists traps but it is good to experience a walk. Make sure you stop at La Boqueria food market in La Ramblas just go down the smaller aisles to buy anything as the front and center ones are tourist traps, watch your wallet here too as petty crime could be a thing.

6-8pm Relax and get ready for dinner.
8-10pm Dinner at Estimar just a short walk from your hotel.
Day 3: Gaudi Day
7am-9am Complimentary breakfast at the hotel.
10-1pm
Sometimes day tours are just easier and today I recommend spending a little money on one like this.

Sagrada Familia and Gaudi Private Tour with Skip the Line Tickets 2025 – Barcelona
Find a cute café for a tapas lunch.
3-6pm Time for Baths and a Spa after a morning of shlepping.
8-10pm Dinner: Maybe take a break from Spanish food? Try one of our favorite restaurants in Barcelona. Belgium/Spanish fusion. The chef uses ice cream as a cream sauce in many dishes. It is excellent. Restaurante de tapas fusión en Barcelona – Gilda by Belgious
Day 4 Beach Day!
Complimentary Breakfast at your hotel.
Time to take a break from the bustling city and enjoy a quieter day in Sitges for beach and a beautiful/walkable old town just 45 minutes away. While you can take a train, we suggest a taxi/uber as it will make transiting faster.

Or
Walk from your hotel to Barceloneta Beach. While not nearly as pleasant as Sitges, a 20-minute walk is nice 😊.
Or
Cooking class. Matt and I did this one Paella Cooking Class by Las Ramblas and Market Visit 2025 – Barcelona

Dinner: Seafood Restaurant Barcelona – Carballeira Close proximity to your hotel should you want to do one final Gothic corridor walk.
Barcelona is also one of those cities where you can just walk and find things to do! What are your favorite Barcelona activities?
Bon Voyage,
Andrew
