Hi my name is Andrew and I have been fortunate of having the opportunity to travel the world for most of my life. Traveling and exploring the world has been a blessing and has partially shaped who I am. After his success of his culinary blog, The Homemade Chef (homemade-chef.com), my husband Matt pushed me to create another blog to share our other love, travel!

We wanted to create an experience where we hope to motivate our friends and readers to explore the world. International travel can be life changing and we hope this space will show you how. We chose “Out and Abroad” though to keep our blog broad enough for our travel adventures, but also a space to discuss other issues that are important and related to being “Out” or “Abroad – however close or far from home “Abroad” is.” While the focus will be mostly on our adventures, look out for other relevant posts too!
