To finish out our year of travel, we’re heading to Spain and Southern France — with a quick stop in Andorra along the way. Of all our Q3 and Q4 trips, this is the one we’re most excited about, because we’re finally going to see THE BOY.
Marius and his family have invited us to spend time with them over the holidays, and we cannot wait to embarrass — I mean visit — him after missing him so much. We’re also incredibly excited to spend time with his family, who have truly become family to us as well.
Our trip begins with a few nights in Barcelona, followed by a drive through Andorra and on to Tarbes, France, where we’ll spend a full week with… THE BOY. We’ll wrap things up with a few nights in Bordeaux before heading back home to Maine — unfortunately without THE BOY. ☹
Flights
This trip is also exciting for the flight nerd in me, as we’ll be trying business class on two airlines that are new to us:
- Virgin Atlantic
- Iberia
I’m just as excited about the hotels on this itinerary. In Barcelona and Andorra, we’ll be staying at properties I’ve sent clients to and received glowing feedback on. In Bordeaux, we’ll be checking into a hotel we once considered for our honeymoon.
